In the field of design and technology, media designers plan production processes and design media products for customers. You can also get involved in internal marketing and let your creativity run wild.

Tasks and activities:
• Plan production flow
• Analyze the assignment, determine an appropriate process path for production
• Identify time required for production steps, check and plan technical capacities
• Compile working documents and data according to the order
• Take over data, checking their usability and completeness
• Designing media products
• Prepare and present customer specifications and own design ideas
• Edit texts, images and graphics from a design point of view and integrate them into layouts
• Select and apply appropriate software tools for media production
• Check and optimize work results in a design-oriented manner as well as for technical feasibility
Duration:
Your three-year training takes place at Holzer Druck and Medien and at the vocational school in Kempten. The lessons take place in the 1st year of training on two days and in the 2. or 3. Training year is held on one day in the week.
